Here are a few tips to getting the best taste from your coffee beans, flavored coffees and gourmet blends. French press, vacuum pots and percolators need coarse grounds for the best taste. Coarse grounds will feel chunky. Drip machines with flat bottom filters need a medium grind. That means the grinds will be gritty, similar to sand.
